The problem with most company headshot libraries is that they were built one person at a time, over years, by different photographers in different rooms. The result is a leadership page where one person is lit warm and another cool, one is cropped at the chest and another at the waist.
We solve this by fixing the setup, not the person. Lighting, camera height, lens, distance and background are locked before the first person sits down, and every subsequent person — that day or two years later — is photographed to the same specification. A new hire in 2027 will match a director photographed in 2025.
That matters most for organisations photographing at volume: a whole department in a day, a leadership team before an annual report deadline, or the same standard applied across several offices.
Team and group portraits
You can see finished corporate group photography in our past projects. Group work is a logistics problem before it is a photographic one. The variables are how many people, how much room, and how long you can hold them still.
Small groups are photographed together in one frame. Larger teams are handled in arranged sections so that every face is properly lit and no one is lost behind another person’s shoulder. Where a full team genuinely cannot be assembled — different shifts, different countries, one director travelling — we photograph the missing people separately to the same specification so they can be placed into the group image without looking pasted in.
Environmental executive portraits at your workplace
An environmental portrait uses the workplace as part of the picture: a trading floor, a laboratory, a plant room, a lobby, a shipyard. Done properly it tells a viewer what the organisation actually does, which a plain background cannot.
Examples of this work appear throughout our Singapore corporate photography projects. This is where twenty years of non-studio work matters. We have photographed in offices, factories, cleanrooms, theatres, shipyards and offshore facilities, which means safety inductions, restricted areas, live operations and awkward available light are ordinary working conditions for us rather than obstacles.

How an executive portrait session works
- Brief. We agree what the images are for — annual report, website, LinkedIn, press — because the intended use decides framing, crop and file format.
- Schedule. For team shoots we build a running order in advance, usually in short slots, so people leave their desks once and briefly.
- Setup. We arrive early, build and calibrate the lighting, and photograph a test frame before the first subject.
- The sitting. Most people need only a few minutes. We direct posture, shoulders, chin and expression — nobody is expected to know how to pose.
- Selection. Images are reviewed and shortlisted; for executive work this happens on a large screen during the session.
- Post-production. Colour, tone and retouching are applied to a single standard across the set.
- Delivery. Files are supplied web-ready and print-ready, with the timeline confirmed at booking.

We come to you when you are photographing many people, when executives cannot leave the building, or when the workplace itself should appear in the picture. We bring the full lighting setup with us; a studio-quality result does not depend on being in a studio.
For an on-location session we need a room we can work in for the day. As a practical guide, a meeting room of roughly three by four metres is enough for seated and half-length headshots; full-length and group work needs more depth. A power point and a room we can darken or control helps, but neither is essential — we light the space ourselves.
Practical guidance before your shoot
What to wear
Solid, mid-tone business clothing photographs best. Avoid tight patterns, stripes and checks, which can shimmer on screen, and avoid large logos or slogans that date an image.
Bring a jacket even if you do not intend to wear it — it gives a second, more formal version from the same sitting. Matte make-up helps under lights; shine does not. For teams, a one-line dress note circulated in advance (“business attire, solid colours, no busy patterns”) does more for consistency than anything we can fix afterwards.

Retouching and delivery
Every delivered image is colour-corrected and finished to a professional standard: skin retouching that removes temporary blemishes, stray hairs, shine and distracting creases, while leaving the person recognisably themselves. We do not reshape faces.
Files are delivered in web-ready and print-ready versions, correctly sized and colour-managed for each. Where a deadline is fixed — an annual report, a press submission, a conference programme — tell us at booking and the schedule is built backwards from it.
